Dr. Michael McGowan, Senior Staff Scientist of Arc Ecology, has been appointed Adjunct Professor of Environmental Management at University of San Francisco for the Fall 2010 term. Dr. McGowan teaches the evening class "Environmental Permitting and Compliance" in the USF graduate degree program.
The University of San Francisco founded its Master of Science in Environmental Management program nearly 30 years ago. Designed for graduate students and working professionals who seek or hold careers in the environmental field, the goal of this science-based management program is to enhance and broaden the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the demands and changes of the environmental marketplace - in industry, government and public agencies, nonprofit and non-governmental organizations and the consulting sector.
